As you have probably noticed, we are currently running quite a basic site. We do not use cookies or anything else to gather any information about anyone using our site. Unless you tell us by email, we know absolutely nothing about you or your computer.
The site is set up for information purposes, not to collect orders. However, if existing customers wish to email their orders, rather than fax or post them, they are welcome to do so.
Anyone who has not bought from us before should phone up so we can make pricing and payment arrangements with you. We accept payment through Bacs and by cheque. This is carried out by our accountant, who is also the only person who can access the information. At present, no customer information is held electronically.
We only collect information for the purposes of processing and delivering orders, and for contacting customers about their orders when necessary.
As the majority of our business is based on repeat custom we keep customer details on file until it has been agreed to terminate the relationship. If you do not want us to store any of your details, please let us know.
We do not pass details on to third parties. However, if somebody contacts us wanting to purchase something which we do not stock, and we know one of our customers does, we may pass on their phone number. Also, if a business has been approached by one of our customers, they may ask us for a basic reference regarding the reliability of the customer regarding payment. We answer these enquiries honestly.
