:: range We believe our clematis and climbers range is one of the best currently available in the trade. :: > clematis All clematis are in 3 litre deep pots with a single 90cm cane topped with a cane cap. We usually have at least 80 varieties at any one time. These include standards such as Nelly Moser and Montana Rubens, plus the RHS collection and the Prairie collection. From spring to October check our looking good lists and special offers to find out which varieties are in flower. We also have many more uncommon types such as Rehderiana, Recta Purpurea, Edward Pritchard and Flammula, and up to 10 alpinas, 5 integrifolia, 6 macropetalas, 10 montanas, 5 texensis types, plus all the hybrids. Most of our plants are from Raymond Evison's world famous clematis nursery in Guernsey.
> climbers Here again, all are in 3 litre deep pots with 90cm canes and caps. Most of the time we have up to 10 Chaenomeles, 20 Ivy, 10 Jasmine, 20 Honeysuckle, 8 Parthenocissus, and 8 Wisteria ready at any one time.
> shrubs All are in 2, 2.5, 3 or 3.5 litre pots, depending on size and vigour of type. Standards we grow include Berberis, Buddleia, Forsythia, Hydrangea, Potentilla and Viburnum. Within these groups there are many different varieties in stock. Our ranges of Cistus and Santolina are very comprehensive.
> herbaceous Again in 2, 2.5, or 3 litre pots, depending on size and vigour of type. For summer impulse sales we grow up to 20 types of Crocosmia. These are in 3 litre deep pots and are not potted by machine, so, unlike many others for sale, do not fall out of the pot! Hardy Fuchsia are a top selling line and we think our range is second to none: we have 30 plus varieties, all in 2.5 litre pots for good shelf life and strong impulse sales. Our Penstemons are in 3 litre pots and here again our range is not surpassed by many others. Dahlias have been a top selling line of late; our plants are in 2.5 litre pots in a range of 50 plus varieties. For 2009 we will have good stocks of the ever-popular Bishop of Llandaff, along with many other dark leaf types. << previous ________________________________________________ continued >>
